Meet Dr. Denny Byrne

Dr. Denny ByrneWelcome! After being a dentist for over 32 years, I still truly love coming to work each day. Our patients light up every day and I strive to make each visit a positive and comfortable experience.

In order to become a dentist, I attained the following certificates:

  • Undergraduate Degree, Duke University, 1974
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, 1978
  • John Hopkins Hospital Comprehensive Childcare Clinic, 1979

Continuing Education

Although my formal education was complete over 30 years ago, my profession is constantly changing! In order to always provide our patients with the highest quality of care, I always strive to stay on top of the latest dental methods and technologies.

As a part of my continuing education, I have been a part of the visiting faculty for the L.D. Pankey Institute for Continuing Dental Education since 1998. I am also part of the dean’s faculty at the University of Maryland Dental School Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry Residency. I also attained my fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1985, and my mastership in 1992.

I have been a patient of Dr. Byrne’s for 10 years. Dr Byrne is always very patient and explains things in detail as to what needs to be done. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and his love for dentistry is obvious. It is very important to me that I feel confident in his work. I had a crown done a few years back that looks perfect. He is very gentle and I never feel his shots! I would highly recommend Dr Byrne.
