Nancy Ward and Denny Byrne are a husband wife general dental team with special interests in comprehensive restorative dentistry, orthodontics and esthetic dentistry. We are located in north Baltimore off of 695 Exit 25 in a state-of-the art dental facility on Kenilworth Drive.
We are distinguished from many dental practices by our caring concern for you as a whole person and our genuine desire to provide you with the most appropriate dentistry for your circumstances. After spending the time needed to understand you as a person and learn about your concerns and desires – as well as your health and oral condition, we will help you understand what is possible for achieving optimal health, function and esthetics. We will then guide you in making oral health decisions that are in your long-term best interest.

We are meticulous in evaluating and planning the best-staged treatment to produce long-lasting, predictable results.
Continuous education is a mark of this practice. We have accomplished many hundreds of hours of postgraduate training and are both on the Visiting Faculty of the world-class Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the University of Maryland Dental School. We are capable of diagnosing and developing treatment plans to solve even the most complex dental problems.

Our team is composed of dental professionals who are warm, caring and very knowledgeable.
We participate in, provide and organize world-class dental continuing education. We seek to give back for our many blessings by participating in both foreign and local missionary dentistry and volunteer teaching at the University of Maryland Dental School The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida.
MEET THE DOCTORS
Nancy Ward
Nancy Ward graduated for University of Maryland in 1977 with a BS in Dental Hygiene and from University of Maryland Dental School in 1981. Her dental interests involve using orthodontics to make mouths healthier, function better, and to create an esthetic smile. She is a member of the Dean’s faculty of the University of Maryland Dental School and visiting faculty of The L. D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne Florida. She also serves as a trustee at the Pankey Institute. She lectures and writes on the use of conservative orthodontics in restorative dentistry. She has served organized dentistry as President of Maryland Academy of General Dentistry and national membership chairman. She has a Mastership in the Academy of general dentistry which is their highest award for achievement in dental continuing education. She organizes and participates in missionary dentistry locally at Helping Up mission in Baltimore City and overseas with Serving Him in Braila, Romania.
Denny Byrne
Denny Byrne graduated from Duke University with a BSE in 1974 and University of Maryland Dental School in 1978. He worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a year and entered private practice in 1779. His dental interests include comprehensive restorative dentistry, implants and occlusion. He is a member of the Dean’s faculty at the University of Maryland Dental School and visiting faculty of The L. D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne Florida. He has held state and national offices in the Academy of General Dentistry primarily in the area of continuing dental education. He has a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry which is their highest award for dental continuing education. He enjoys forming and facilitating small group learning for dentists and dental students. He also organizes and participates in missionary dentistry at Peoples Community Health Center, Helping up Mission in Baltimore city and with ServingHim in Braila, Romania.
Together Nancy and Denny enjoy their three wonderful children. They live in Sherwood Forest, MD and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. They are active members of Bay Area Community Church. Nancy’s interests include her children and travel. Denny enjoys the children, running, reading, wine, and cooking.
